Theron & Bethany Bowman

Theron and Bethany Bowman joined our staff in 2024 to fill a teaching need at Ironwood Christian Academy. They were in our Core program for two years and moved onto resident staff in June 2026. Theron is bi-vocational—one of the pastors at Faith Baptist Church of Cherokee Road and a full-time member of our Program Team. Bethany is the vice principal of Ironwood Christian Academy as well as the lower elementary school teacher. Theron grew up in a military family and loves all things coffee, guns, and theology. Bethany was an Ironwood pygmy as the daughter of Ironwood’s “Sheriff Tom” and now teaches in the same classroom her mom Sara did. They have three pygmies of their own: Peter, Rori, and Madi, and one more coming in December 2026.
