What We Teach: The Bible

We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testament are the inspired Word of God.

We believe that the Scriptures are infallible and without error in the original manuscripts.

God promises that His words will not pass way (Matthew 24:35), and we believe God preserves His Word.

We support a church’s decision to use an accurate translation in a known language for the teaching, preaching, and discipleship of their congregation.

Although there may be other good translations that churches choose to use, during Ironwood organized camps we limit our platform and public use to the CSB, ESV, KJV, NASB, and NKJV.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16–17

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:19–21
