Pastor Ryan Horkavy and his wife Jennifer served with the college ministry of Morningside Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, before moving to Arizona to start a church. He has both a B.A. and M.A. in Bible from Bob Jones University, a M.Div. from International Baptist College and Seminary, and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in Ankeny, IA, with an emphasis on Shepherding and Discipleship. His burden for church planting began during his undergraduate years and became his passion. While starting a church plant, Crossroad Baptist Church, in Buckeye, Ryan served as the assistant pastor of Westpointe Baptist Church in Litchfield Park. Five years after starting Crossroad, the church merged with a sister church without a pastor. His wife Jennifer shares his burden of ministry; they have two children.
