Christian Torres answered the call to be pastor-teacher of Riverside Baptist Church in 2019. A former US Navy Hospital Corpsman, he received his commission in the US Army Chaplaincy in 2011. His ordination into the gospel ministry was recognized at Life Point Baptist Church, Apple Valley, CA, in 2014. As a United States Army Reserve Chaplain, he is currently assigned as Brigade Chaplain (Major) for the 1394th Transportation Surface Brigade on Camp Pendleton, CA, and supervises several Unit Ministry Teams on the West Coast. Pastor Torres has served in various capacities ranging from volunteer church worker to full-time associate pastor in the United States, Japan, and the Philippines. He and his wife Brittany have six children.
